Purpose

Matthew 4:23 is a ministry founded in Spartanburg, South Carolina, which looks to minister with love and compassion for all individuals, with emphasis on the poor/poor in spirit within the Spartanburg community. The main area of focus is to minister to the whole person with love and compassion. Providing those who are poor in spirit with the knowledge of sound doctrine.

As a ministry, services are not only restricted to the poor within Spartanburg, as we look to expand services to cover America and all nations. Services are driven by the passion to act on behalf of the poor in spirit; a responsibility which should be borne by all.

The fact that there are a lot of people in America who are poor drives the desire for expansion. Many of these people are held captive to the harsh conditions of poverty resulting from communication barriers which prevent them from excelling in the educational system.
